Cortnie lives in and loves Austin.  She began her improv career in college with the short-form improv group Pointless Players in her hometown of Ingram, Texas.  She is a graduate of ColdTowne Conservatory and performs regularly with Stool Pigeon, Sarah 7 and Elevator Action.  She is a writer/performer in the ColdTowne Mainstage Sketch shows Cereal for Adults and After School Special Victims Unit.

She has performed in improv festivals around the country, including The Del Close Marathon in NY in 2011, The Twin Cities Improv Festival (2011), LAFF (2010 & 2011) and Out of Bounds (Austin, 2009 - 2011).
